Day 01: Bagdogra (IXB) Airport / NJP Railway Station – Pelling
Meet on arrival at IXB Airport / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station & transfer to our home stay / guest house in we drive to Pelling, a small town situated at an altitude of 7,200 feet in the district of West Sikkim. Pelling is from where we can get the closest view of the Himalayas and Mt. Kanchendzonga. The land around Pelling is virgin and is covered with alpine vegetation and numerous waterfalls cascading down the hillsides. Relax rest of the day.

Day 02: Pelling
After breakfast, proceed to Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred Buddhist wish-fulfilling lake where it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Myth has it that when a tree leaf falls on the placid clear lake water, the same is picked by a bird. En-route visit Mt.Kanchenjunga Waterfalls. Also, visit Norbugang Chorten (the 1stcapital of the Sikkim Kingdom) in Yuksom.
Post lunch, visit Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim, famous for the seven tiered wooden model of creation housed on the top floor.
Then, we visit Rabdentse, the second capital of the erstwhile kingdom of Sikkim after Yuksom until 1841. Today, the ruins lie hidden from the main road at a walking distance from the Pemayangtse Monastery. The ruins of Rabdentse are well worth exploring. The winding track through the forest brings you to a small set of ruins of the early town and eventually onto the ruins of the palace with a Chorten nearby.

Day 03: Pelling - Ravangla
Today, drive to the beautiful destination of Ravangla, a picturesque and quaint town in the foothills of the 12,000 ft Maenam Hill, one of the highest green hills in Sikkim. The prime attraction of Ravangla is the unobstructed views of Kanchenjunga along with its sister peaks of Pandim, Kabru, Sinialchu and many others. Upon arrival in Ravangla, visit the Buddha Park locally known as Tathagata Tsal which has a 128 feet copper statue of Buddha consecrated by His Holiness Dalai Lama the fourteenth in 2013. We also visit Ralong monastery which is closeby.
Then, check-in to the Homestay and relax for the day. You can take a short walk around the village and interact with the locals. Spend the evening enjoying Chaang, the local fermented millet drink.

Day 04: Ravangla - Gangtok
Today, we move to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, which means the “town on the hilltop” in the local Bhutia language. Gangtok combines an attractive mix of Old World charm, traditional hospitality and a modern cosmopolitan outlook. Today, relax for a while and then visit the main market, MG Marg by walk. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 05: Excursion to Nathu La Pass, Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir
After breakfast start on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake situated at 12,400 ft. above sea level where you can take a yak ride & also visit, Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to a soldier who laid his life situated at 13,200 ft. above sea level. The trip can be extended to Nathu La Pass, the India China Border (14,140 ft) subject to grant of permit by the authorities (surcharge extra).

Day 06: Gangtok
Today we visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology which was established in 1958 sponsors and promotes research on the religion, history, language, art and culture of the people of the Tibetan culture which includes Sikkim. It holds one of the largest collections of Tibetan works in the world. The Handicraft center was founded during the reign of the Chogyals of Sikkim to preserve and propagate the art and craft skills of the local artisans. Here, you can see hand-woven carpets with traditional motifs, blankets, shawls, “thangka” paintings, graceful “Choktse” (hand carved foldable tables), hand-painted masks, dolls and many other objects. Adjacent to the institute are two exquisite stupas, the Do Drul Chorten, built to commemorate the victory of good over evil and the Jhang Chub Chorten, built in the memory of Thrukshik Rinpoche, an ardent devotee, a great spiritualist and interpreter of Buddhism. Near the Chorten are two giant statues of Lord Buddha and Guru Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rimpoche, the patron saint of Sikkim.
We then visit Enchey Monastery which is perched on a ridge above Gangtok. Nestled within lush woods with a spectacular view of Gangtok town, the monastery was built in 1910 on the site of the hermitage of the great tantric saint, Lama Drutob Karpo, who was renowned for his powers of levitation. The monastery houses the monks of the Nyingmapa Order of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 07: Bid Adieu
Check-out of the home stay / guest house early in the morning. Transfer to the airport / railway station. We bid good-bye to all the participants. Tour ends.
